In the corridors of BUSINESSCOM, the buzz of change resonates as we look back on a journey of transformation and growth. The year 2023 brought us exciting turning points and thrilling events that elevated our company to a new level.
The journey began with an enhancement of services for our stakeholders. By allocating more resources to our HR team and strengthening the finance department, we positioned ourselves as a more responsive service provider and a pioneer in customer satisfaction and efficiency. Additionally, the introduction of the new master data team allowed us to lay the groundwork for more efficient data management and significantly optimize workflows.
An especially exciting chapter unfolded with the opening of our additional location in Bern Felsenau. Here, amidst the vibrant atmosphere of this inspiring city, we not only found new office space but also a space for ideas and innovation, enabling us to be closer to our customers than ever before.
But that was just the beginning. The fully automated high-bay warehouse in Biglen stands as a symbol of our determination not only to keep up with the times but to stay ahead of them. The commissioning of this technological marvel provided additional storage capacity as well as the ability to ensure the supply to our customers in an even more efficient manner. In terms of our product range, we delighted our customers with numerous new additions, and after two years of anticipation, our popular main catalog made its return, an important tool for our customers to find the best products for their pets.
All the significant changes of this year embody the leap into the future. BUSINESSCOM underscores this with a visual facelift and a new outward appearance. The rebranding of BUSINESSCOM brought not only a new logo but also a fresh design, representing our constant pursuit of development, modernization, and improvement.
Following the successful rebranding in October, BUSINESSCOM not only renewed its outward appearance but also opened its doors for a special opportunity. After a challenging Corona hiatus, we were finally able to host the Open House Days, which this time took place at our state-of-the-art location in Biglen. This event served as a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences. We valued the intense interaction and the opportunity to engage directly with our suppliers, partners, and customers.
And as we pen these lines, we can hardly wait to embark on the next stage of our journey. In the new year, the next groundbreaking projects await us: our IT is already gearing up to shape the digital future of BUSINESSCOM, our HR will elevate personnel issues to a new level through increased interaction and communication, and our marketing department is tapping into creativity for new wow effects.
